- Create and tend to your own garden balcony in Pocket Oasis
- Enjoy dynamic weather conditions and hand-painted urban backdrops
- Cute critters and over 36 varieties of plants can populate your own slice of paradise
With the hectic rush of modern-day life, there’s barely any time to stop and smell the roses. Literally, in many cases, as anyone who’s had to spend time in one of the many concrete nightmares that dot Britain will attest. Fortunately, if you want to enjoy the green space a bit, why not have a go at Pocket Oasis, and bring the greenery to you?
First released on Steam, Pocket Oasis is now making its way to the palm of your hand. As you might expect, the game has you gardening and tending to a growing collection of plants on your city balcony. Dynamic weather and conditions offer a sense of realism, while a variety of cute critters can come and visit your urban garden.
Add onto that the ability to customise your balcony with backdrops inspired by a number of beautiful urban environments, from Zurich to Paris, all hand-painted, and you have a recipe for something that’ll help you cool off after a hectic day at the office.
Going green
I remember there was a game that I used to play on Steam years ago that had a similar subject to Pocket Oasis. It was a sort of gardening Tamagotchi where you tended to a plant. Naturally, it’s been many years since I checked in on said plant, but it’s safe to say I can see the appeal of a game like Pocket Oasis.
