Silver and Blood is a new fast-paced RPG from Moonton that’s perfect for vampire fans out there

  • Moonton’s latest game is the vampire-themed Silver and Blood
  • Boasting fast-paced RPG combat, it’s confirmed to come to Android and beta in the US
  • It launches into beta on September 19th

Moonton, responsible for games like Mobile Legends Bang Bang, will push their latest game Silver and Blood into open beta in the US this September 19th. A vampire-themed, fast-paced RPG, it offers some interesting visuals and an even more bizarre story. But what else does Moonton have to offer? Let’s dig in and find out!

It doesn’t take more than a brief glance at Silver and Blood to see the vibe that Moonton are going for, what with the aristocratically-dressed, red-eyed undead that are crowding out the roster. And the story is equally gothic in nature, although the word vampire is suspiciously absent. But promises that your character will help these Bloodborn return to the Moon are definitely enticingly weird.

But what about the gameplay? Well, that’s where things might falter a bit because this does seem to be your bog-standard action RPG. Duke it out in instanced battles, explore a world map, roll for new characters, rinse and repeat. But at the same time if you like that sort of thing and just want a new coat of paint, Silver and Blood may be for you.

Personally speaking, I’ve been reading too much Stephen King lately, so I’ve had enough of vampires to last me a good while yet. But at the same time, Silver and Blood is intriguing because it’s trying to push the boat out a bit, with less overly cutesy and unthreatening characters, instead going a bit heavier on the fangs and barely-contained bloodlust.
