Hot off the heels of another major download milestone Pokémon TCG Pocket has now announced its third event. The new event allows you to gain exclusive rewards by duking it out with other players.
Unlike the Lapras event, the Genetic Apex Emblem 1 Event is focused on pure PvP duels rather than singleplayer. By duelling you’ll be able to earn everything from a simple Participation emblem all the way up to a Gold emblem. Not only that, but you’ll also be able to snap up additional rewards like Hourglass and ShineDust simply by participating.

Pokémania reborn
It’s pretty interesting to see Pokemon TCG Pocket come swinging out of the gate with so many events. But I suppose it should be expected considering the international popularity of the franchise and the original TCG. I also think it’s quite a good call to switch gears from encouraging players to compete in simply solo battles, to actually jumping into multiplayer, rewarding them for trying out everything there is to offer.
