Strinova will launch on mobile and consoles next year.
- Strinova launches on PC this month
- The 5v5 shooter lets you seamlessly shift between 2D and 3D forms
- The game will arrive on mobile in 2025
5v5 anime shooter Strinova will be released for PC on November 21st. The official release date announcement comes on the heels of the successful closed beta held during Steam Next Fest in October where it was one of the most popular demos. Steam users can choose to preload the game beginning November 18th.
At launch, Strinova will offer five modes, including Demolition and Team Deathmatch. The shooter will also offer 14 maps and 15 playable characters upon its release. However, developer iDreamSky promises that more modes, maps, and avatars will be added later on.
Strinova is a competitive shooter in which you play as an anime character with the ability to transform into a 2D paper version of themselves. In 2D form, you’ll be able to more easily dodge bullets and manoeuvre with ease. Formidable factions war against each other after humanity migrates to the multi-dimensional realm of Strinova. Each faction wants to control the energy crystals which would give them the power to win the war and decide the realm’s fate.
Stringification lets your avatar transition between 2D and 3D forms on a whim. When in 2D paper form, you gain access to various manoeuvres, including scaling walls, dodging enemy projectiles, and uncovering secret pathways. You can choose superstrings from any of the three main factions – P.U.S., The Scissors, or Urbino.
While this competitive shooter will not launch on mobile until sometime next year, you can still pre-register on the official website to help unlock milestone rewards. All unlocked milestone rewards will be available at launch.
Rewards include OBT Commemorative Baseplate, OBT Audio Spray – Animated, which unlocks at 200,00 pre-registrations, and Perfect Quality Kokona’s Quasar – Tidal Duck, which unlocks at 6 million pre-registrations. To learn more about Strinova, join the Discord Community or follow it on X or YouTube.
